Shannon J. Wise, D.C.
Dr. Shannon Wise, is the founder and president of Core Wellness Centers. Dr. Wise graduated from Logan University in St. Louis in 1999 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Prior to attending Logan, Dr. Wise received his Bachelors of Science degree from Ball State University, where he met is wife Robin. Although Dr. Wise is orginally from Columbus/Hope, Indiana, he has been practicing in Fishers for over 20 years. Fishers is now home, and where he and Robin have raised their two daughters. Outside of the office Dr. Wise enjoys fishing, woodworking and spending time outdoors with his family and dogs.
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Nicole Baruzzini, LMT
Nicole learned basic massage techniques (myofascial release, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy) when she was around 6 years old from her aunt that was an LMT. This sparked a keen interest in her which she pursued over the next 30 years. Additionally, she spent 4 years in physical therapy as a patient, learning how to best manage the chronic pain she lives with. In turn, she has used her knowledge of the human body and chronic pain to help the people around her with creating their own pain management treatment plans. When in treatment you can expect the following items -
Focus on reestablishing mobility in areas that are inhibited
Focus on acute spots as needed, with the goal of reducing the amount of pain flare ups experienced – reduction in pain levels, frequency, and duration of flare ups
Working with people to educate them on the things that can do “at home” to extend the benefits of the massage.
OFFICE MANAGER
Melissa Potts
Melissa has been with Core Wellness Centers since 2022. She started in healthcare in 2018 after many years in the tradeshow industry, she enjoys working in healthcare and takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment.
Melissa is married to Mitch and has two adult children, Jordan and Brittany. When she is not at work, she enjoys playing golf, spending time with her family and watching her favorite teams, Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes.
